I retired from public school in 2016 after 44 years of teaching. I taught 30 years in middle school and 14 in high school. During my career, I coached football, basketball, and track in middle school, on top of teaching industrial arts for all my years. I became a christian at the age of 8 and was baptized in the little creek down the road from the church, and have been active in our church family ever since. In 2003, I was also ordained as a deacon at the First Baptist Church in China Spring, TX.-
