Emilia Kaiser, B.A.

Upper and Intermediate School Spanish Teacher

I remember looking out of my old high school window during English class and seeing the original Holy Cross Episcopal Church sitting across the street on Johnson Avenue. Little did I know that I would one day be a part of the remarkable school that grew out of that church. What an important part of my family's life it has become! I graduated from Burleson High School and went to college at TCU. I vowed I was leaving Burleson for good, not looking back, but God had other plans. I graduated from TCU in 1994, married, and began working in FWISD as a bilingual teacher. My family eventually moved back to Burleson and began looking for a school for our children. HCCA was looking for a teacher. Holy Cross was the perfect fit for all! Teaching fifth graders is very rewarding. Incorporating my love of history and art has allowed me to enrich all our units. I enjoy getting to know my students and helping them discover their own strengths and develop their God given gifts.-
