Tim Newton, M.T.S.

ASL Teacher

After graduating from the University of North Texas, I taught Middle School History for a few years in the Denton Independent School District before relocating to Burleson. When my wife and I were looking for schools for our son, God orchestrated a random meeting between my wife and other parents of Holy Cross who convinced her that Holy Cross was the ABSOLUTE BEST! When we toured the school, we quickly were convinced ourselves. And since that time, I have been part of the Holy Cross family for well over a decade as a parent and as a faculty member. Over the years I have had many roles at Holy Cross including being part of the Middle School team teaching History, Math, Science, Theater, Lego League, and ASL. I also have had the opportunity to be the Middle School Volleyball coach and look forward to fielding our very first VARSITY Volleyball squad in the near future as we grow our High School. In addition to teaching, I also serve as the Student Pastor at Alsbury Church. I am married to the love of my life and we have two amazing children, both graduates of Holy Cross. I love spending time with my family and when not watching my kids involved in their activities, I enjoy watching the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and our local volleyball teams.-
