I am so excited to be part of the Holy Cross faculty this year teaching PK4! When our oldest daughter was two, my sister Jenifer Newton suggested that we enroll her in the PK2.5 class at Holy Cross. My sister had worked there for a few years and both her children attended. We were impressed with what we saw her children doing, so I was all in. We lived in Keller at the time, so we made the commute two days a week. We knew this was just for one year until we found something closer to our home. That never happened! We loved HCCA so much that we enrolled her in PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten…all while living and commuting from Keller! Five days a week was hard, and we knew we wanted our kids to stay at Holy Cross, so we made the move to Burleson last year. We are so glad we did! I have seen the wonderful things our little school does and am so excited to be part of the amazing staff. I grew up in southeast Texas. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a minor in Speech Communications. I taught for twelve years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I am happily married and have two daughters who both attend Holy Cross. When we aren’t at school, our family loves to travel, swim, and watch movies.
