I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a young age -- most importantly, a Kindergarten teacher! This is why it’s a joy to say, this will be my seventh year teaching Kindergarten at HCCA and my tenth year being a part of this program. My love runs deep for this educational program, and I am very passionate about working and learning with children. My favorite place to be with my students is knee-to-knee and eye-to-eye while witnessing each sparkle God has placed within them and building relationships to endure. At HCCA we are concerned about developing the whole child, and I hold this ideal very close to my heart. It is with great pride, I call Holy Cross Christian Academy my home! With a loving husband of twenty-seven years, who is also an educator and has a doctorate in teacher education, it is important for us to embrace this responsibility to educate the leaders of tomorrow. I am the proud mother of four beautiful children who also call HCCA their home. What a glorious foundation HCCA has placed within each one of them, to grow and serve as Christian disciples. I am truly humbled by the blessing God has given me to be a teacher, cherishing this gift each day with my students. If you find yourself walking by the kindergarten room and hear the exuberant joys from the walls within – know it is us; learning, laughing, and loving in the name of Jesus!
