Kristin Wood, B.S.

Instructional Aide

Missouri State University

I spent most of my childhood in and around Arkansas City, Kansas but moved to Ireland for three years during high school. I moved back to the states my senior year of high school and then went to Cowley County Community College on a tennis scholarship. I moved to Springfield, Missouri after graduating CCCC and graduated from Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University) in 1996, with a degree in Child and Family Development. While in college, I met my husband of 18-years. Together we have two daughters, one a Junior at Texas A&M University, and the other a sophomore at Joshua high school. I worked for Cook Children's Hospital after moving to Texas in 2000; however, I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom after our second child was born and was able to be at home with her for 5-years. I started with Holy Cross in 2007, where both our children attended. For the last three years, I have been an aide for Mrs. Martin in the library and computer lab.-
