When I was searching for a place to continue my journey in education, Holy Cross Christian Academy was at the top of my list. I wanted to be a part of a school that helps children grow in mind, body, and spirit.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, I come to HCCA with 30 years of teaching experience in public schools. Most of those years were spent in Burleson ISD. I retired after the 2021-22 school year, and I worked as a case manager for a foster child placement agency. Although I enjoyed my time serving children and their families in this capacity, I truly believe that teaching is my calling in life. 

I am the proud mother of two grown children. My son and daughter-in-law live in Arkansas where he works for Lockheed-Martin as a mechanical engineer. My daughter is currently a senior in the TechTeach program with Texas Tech University. She is busy with her coursework and student teaching this year. 

I am so excited to be a part of the Holy Cross family, and I look forward to watching my students grow academically and spiritually.
