Receptionist, Administrative Assistant

University of Central Arkansas

If you step through our doors at HCCA it will likely be my face you'll see first. If you call the school it will likely be my voice you'll hear on the other end of the line. My hope, with either one, is that you feel "at home". I have several job duties and responsibilities, but my title is Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Years ago we were looking at schools for our energetic and enthusiastic 5 year old, who was going into Kindergarten that fall. After touring the school and talking with Mrs. Matejka, it was clear that God led us here. I have been involved at Holy Cross pretty much from day one: from room mom, to Festival of Tables, to committees, serving as a board member and finally as an employee. My educational background doesn’t exactly fit the job title, but oftentimes God has a different plan. I have a Master’s of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have worked in my field over the years but have found the main job I always come back to is MOM. Working at HCCA has allowed me to be present for “all the things” and also help others, which is something I always loved about being a speech pathologist. I’m thankful for the support of my husband and, of course, my kids. They are my “WHY” and the reason HCCA is my “WHERE!”-
