Jenifer Newton, B.S.

Professional School Counselor

Years ago, I was stressing over where my four year old would attend Kindergarten. While watching my son play at the park, I overheard two women gushing over their children’s school. I instantly inserted myself into their conversation and jotted down the name and location. During our tour, I was blown away by the loving environment, level of expectation, and dedication to the development of the “whole child.” WE HAD FOUND OUR SCHOOL! After a year of our son attending, I knew I had to be a part of the bigger picture. Thankfully, that desire came to fruition, and here I am. I’ve worn many hats during my time at HCCA: writing teacher, library aide, and 4th grade teacher. My most recent hat is assisting our amazing administrators. When I’m not at school, I can usually be found reading a book, taking a nap, or attending my children’s extra curricular events. I married my sweet husband in 1999. He is a youth pastor and also can be found in 413 coaching HCCA’s middle school volleyball team. Go Warriors!-
